So here it is. You can read the entire issue 10 of Cast here online for free. This is my favorite issues of Cast and probably one of the best comic stories I’ve written. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to release a new issue of Cast due to me and my artists being busy with other stuff and lack of funds, so I wanted to post this online to share with as many people as possible.
All I ask in return is if you enjoyed this story, please pass the link to this site along to others. I really love this story and would love to have more people read it (which is why I’m posting it here for free).
The series, specifically this issue, WON in various categories in the 2009 Komikon Awards last September 2009. I’d like to thank everyone who voted for us! This win is dedicated to my wife, Iyay. The winning scene features I poem I wrote for her back in 2000. This is the poem that forever changed our relationship (which is why I used it in the story. I know it works!).
To thank everyone who voted (and even those who didn’t), I’ll send a special preview to our long-delayed but upcoming issue 12 to readers who email me at jamiebautista @ gmail.com. Just put “Cast 12 preview” in the subject line and I’ll send you a link where you can download it.
As a special treat, I’ll try to write up commentary for each of this issue’s pages until the whole issue is covered. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do so I figured this would be the best time to do it. If not all the pages have commentary, check back every so often. I’ve always wanted to share the behind-the-scenes info with our readers.

Hey sir jamie! Remember when you went to STC to give that comic book making workshop? Well, while you were there, I bought an issue of CAST #1( you even signed it!) , and now I’m totally obsessed with it! I regret not buying all 11 at once *headdesk* but at the time, I only had enough money for 1 issue
( Now I want to buy all the rest, so I was wondering if you know a place where I can buy CAST? Even if I have to go to some far-off publishing house, I WILL go there, that’s how obsessed I am (fangirl

hey…uhm, hi. I read you also want to buy the past issues of Cast. Actually, you can buy directly from the publishing company. (no, you won’t go there. they’ll deliver it for you.) you can look for mr. bautista’s e-mail address. Or e-mail Cast’s official e-mail. I’m buying 3 issues there as well (since i can’t find one in any stores). Just wanted to let you know.

I love cast. I’m sad to hear (or read) that Cast is… not continuing at the moment. I really hope the publishing company continues and mr.jamie is still inspired.
i’ve been searching bookstores just to find the older issues because i’ve missed a lot of issues. (sobs at a corner). I believe the publication is no longer active, a lot of people are loving it. It’s plain, but very touching. Almost everyone can relate. Why stop? PLEASE CONTINUE. And thanks for the cast 10 preview ^_^.

I’d write my own version of Cast if I can because i’m into writing and i love drawing… but it won’t be the same. so, yeah, does anyone know where i can buy old issues? thanks for the info

i bought cast 1 to 10 then my cousin borrowed it and what i have left are issues 1,2,3 and 10 and I hated her for that. Can you like re release all the issues in a bundle like an omnibus and Im willing to spend money just to see the whole Cast cast again ^^ especially Lel and Joe ♥
